RStudioで1.3.959がリリースされて、Google Drive上で作業しているときのトラブルがひとつオプションで解決された

RStudio1.3.959がリリースされた。

Auto Save

Changes automatically (and optionally) saved to disk after a few seconds or when editor loses focus (#5263)

Option to disable real-time backup of unsaved changes to avoid conflicts with Google Drive, Dropbox, etc. (#3837)

Option to adjust idle interval for backup or saving changes

とあって、Google Drive上で作業中のファイルでエラーがポップアップする問題が、オプションで解決できるようになった様子。

このトラブル。

いままではオンラインストレージとの同期をやめると問題発生しなくなっていたが、正直正攻法ではなかった。

んで、今回の1.3.959ではその点が改善されて、オプションを設定するとエラー回避ができるようになった模様。

ちょっと探してみたけど公式のドキュメンのが見つけられなかったが、global option > code > saving > Auto-saveのWhen edito is idle: をDo nothingにするといいんだと思う。
